Army Personnel Testing

The APT program covers administration of four categories of personnel tests, constituting 13 types of tests. Our office administers the Alternate Flight Aptitude Selection Test (AFAST) and the Armed Forces Classification Test (AFCT). You may contact us at the education office to schedule an appointment

Credits by Examination

Army National Guard Members, their spouses, and civilian employees may benefit from free testing opportunities sponsored by the Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES). This can save you valuable time and money and you may receive college credits and promotion points.

Different tests have different fees and you may (or may not) have to pay an administrative fee to take the test you desire. For detailed information visit the DANTES website, call them at (850) 452-1111 or email exams@voled.doded.mil

Troops to Teachers

Troops to teachers provides referral financial aid, assistance, and placement service to eligible military personnel interested in begining a second career as a teacher in K-12 public education. The Troops to teachers program helps applicants identify teacher certification requirement, programs leading to certification, employment opportunities and provide financial aid.
