Your Federal Tuition Assistance
1. Check the rules and regulations governing this program to ensure you are allowed to use it
2. Up to 100% of your tuition and fees, capped at $4,500 per fiscal year - no more than $250 per credit hour, $167 per quarter hour or 16.66 per clock hour
3. May be used with your state benefits; but may not exceed 100% of tuition and fees
4. Make sure you turn your grades in within 60 days of completing your course or we may be obligated to recoup the funding
5. Make sure you alert the Education Department of any course changes

What happens when I apply?
After you apply online a virtual DA2171 is submitted to the Education Office. We approve the application (provided its approvable) and obligate the funding. Next we send a copy to the school, or to you, and ask them to bill us for the amount 'paid by army'. Once we receive the invoice we pay it with our government credit card. Thats it!
Important Facts!
If you change your classes you must let us know, we are obligated (by law) to only pay for courses on your application. It does not matter if the cost changes or not.
Dont forget to turn your grades back in, or you may be denied your benefits for the next semester.
